Water Level Pressure Sensor SS634

Features

SS634 series water level pressure sensor is designed to give accurate current or voltage readings at pressure ranges from 100 mBar(corresponding to the water column depths of 1 meter). These sensors have been mature products in SENDO for measuring liquid level and depth for many years. Their hermetically sealed IP68 grade housing makes them well-suited for immersion in almost all kinds of industrial liquids and oils compatible with stainless steel and Viton.

The electrical connection is a specially designed PU cable with an air tube, and the pressure connection part is an exposed 316L stainless steel corrugated diaphragm. There is no pressure port or blocking problem, making it easy for daily maintenance. Typical applications include water and sewage treatment plants, water level monitoring at reservoirs and dams, and down-hole water wells.

Installation and precautions

• The installation place should be easy to operate and fix
• The installation place should be as far away from the inlet as possible
• The installation place should be as far away from the heat source as possible
• The installation place should be as far away from the vibration source as possible
• During installation, the metal probe should sink to the bottom of the container and be fixed

Precautions for safe use

• Clean the metal probe (sensor) regularly to avoid blocking the pressure port
• A SS 316L diaphragm is exposed in the front part of the sensor. No artificial touch is allowed
• The cable is specially designed for waterproof use, and abrasion, puncture, and cutting the cable is strictly prohibited
• The wiring should strictly reference the electrical connection. Wrong wiring will cause damage to the sensor
