SS401 series sanitary pressure sensor is designed with piezoresistive sensor technology. It has rugged isolated construction with 316L stainless steel wetted parts. The 316L stainless steel diaphragm ensures a crevice-free seal between the process connection and the pressure measuring diaphragm. The sensor is available with industry-standard 1″, 1.5″, or 2″ sanitary clamp fittings. We also feature an integral cooling extension between the Tri-Clamp connection and transmitter body. This design increases the sensor media temperature up to 200°C.
SS401 series for hygienic applications meets the long, reliable service in pressure or level “clean in place” (CIP) and “sterilize in place” (SIP) measurement or maintenance procedures. Typical applications include food processing, beverage, and bio/pharmaceutical industries. The sensor is also used in industrial applications that require a rugged, high-accuracy pressure transmitter.
SS401.T03 series high temperature sanitary pressure transmitter is designed with a rugged 316L SS diaphragm isolated construction. And it is available with 1″, 1 1/2″, and 2″ clamp fitting pressure connections. It is fully welded and compactly designed for washdowns without residuals. The modular construction concept allows a combination of various electrical and process connections. 3 pcs cooling extensions that increase the maximum permissible media temperature to 150°C.
