Features
SS105 series piezoresistive OEM capsule is an ultra-thin piezoresistive pressure sensor. The core sensing element is a high-performance silicon chip. The oil-filled and stainless steel enclosure protects it. Pressure transfers from the diaphragm to the silicon chip via silicone oil. This pressure transfer causes the chip to deform. The Wheatstone electric circuit converts the resistance into an electrical signal output. Suitable for measuring all stainless steel-compatible gases or liquids.
SS105 series is only 5mm high and 14 mm in diameter. It operates across a pressure range of 6 to 100 bar (600 kPa to 10 MPa) and does not need temperature compensation. Yet, it maintains excellent performance for various industrial uses. This design delivers superior cost performance. It is especially ideal for mass production and price-sensitive applications.
SS105T series low-cost pressure measuring capsule is designed based on the SS105 series. The transducer is temperature-compensated by an external circuit board mounted on the backside. It performs better but keeps the compact dimensions of the SS105 series.
