Features
SS107 series silicon isolated pressure sensor uses a construction of stainless steel isolation for its silicon pressure sensor. It features a 15mm outer diameter and 10mm height. The pressure range covers 4 to 25 bar (400 kpa to 2.5 mpa). A high-performance piezoresistive silicon chip is built inside as the pressure-sensing element. When pressure is applied, it transmits through the silicone oil medium inside the chip to the sensing element. The transducer operates according to the principle of the piezoresistive effect, where the signal is linearly proportional to the pressure.
SS107 series uses constant current excitation, e.g., 1.5 mA, 1 mA. The typical full signal output for the measuring ranges is about 100 mV, zero output signal adjusted, and 0 to 70°C wider temperature compensated. Typical applications include industrial automation, process control, the chemical industry, liquid pressure systems, etc.
