Features
SS122 series hydrostatic pressure transducer uses piezoresistive technology, silicone oil-filled inside, and a double o-ring sealed structure that meets IP68 protection and is suitable for liquid level and depth measurement. The stainless steel, hermetically sealed housing makes them ideal for immersion in most industrial liquids and oils. The transducer is designed to offer a stable and accurate mV output signal at pressure ranges from 100 mbar up to 5 bar (corresponding to water column depths of 1 m to 50 m) by various power supplies, e.g., 1.5mA dc, 1.0mA dc, 3V DC or 5V DC.
The electrical connection of the transducer is a specially designed PE or PU cable with an air tube, and the pressure connection part is a much bigger open 316L stainless steel diaphragm to avoid blocking problems in long-term use and is easy for daily maintenance. Typical applications include water and sewage treatment plants, water level monitoring at reservoirs/dams, and down-hole water wells.
Installation and precautions
- The installation place should be easy to operate and fixing

- When installed, the metal probe should sink to the bottom of the container and fixed
Precautions for safety use
- Clean the metal probe (sensor) regularly to avoid blocking the pressure port
- The cable is specially waterproof and designed; abrasion, puncture, and cutting of the cable are strictly prohibited
- The wiring should have strict reference to the electrical connection. Wrong wiring will cause damage to the sensor
- An SS 316L diaphragm is exposed in the front part of the probe (sensor). Artificially foreign body touch is strictly prohibited
