Features
PS100E01 series ceramic diaphragm pressure sensor is made with ceramic cells (Al2O3 96%). It works following the piezoresistive principle. A small PCB does signal conditioning. The PCB is directly mounted to the sensor. It offers 0.5- 4.5V, 0.2- 4.5V ratio-metric voltage signal (customized is available). Electronics provide offset and span correction when the temperature changes. Therefore, excellent long-term stability and negligible temperature drifts can be guaranteed. We developed it for low-cost applications, such as automotive uses.
PS100E01 series has a reinforced outer area (monolithic structure). The sensor is easy to mount in a plastic or metallic case by using an O-ring. Thanks to the good chemical resistance of the ceramic, the sensor can measure pressure in nearly all aggressive media.
Mounting recommendations
The sensor is sensitive to humidity. Here are some recommendations for mounting. Before mounting, put the sensor into a drying oven at 85°C for at least 30 minutes. The environmental temperature must remain below 50°C during the mounting process. After mounting, appropriate sealing measures should be taken to protect the sensor.
