Features
PS100E02 series ceramic piezoresistive pressure sensor is made with ceramic cells (Al2O3 96%) and works following the piezoresistive principle. The signal conditioning electronics are mounted on one side of the ceramic diaphragm. This design features a screen-printed Wheatstone bridge and provides multiple output options, including 0-5V and 0-10V signals.
PS100E02 series is fully temperature compensated. It guarantees a residual temperature effect inside the compensation temperature range within 0.02%F.S./°C. This feature results in a very stable sensor under very harsh conditions. Thanks to the excellent chemical immunity of the ceramic material, the sensor is suitable for nearly all media.
Mounting recommendations
The sensor is sensitive to humidity. Here are some recommendations for mounting. Before mounting, put the sensor into a drying oven at 85°C for at least 30 minutes. The environmental temperature must remain below 50°C during the mounting process. After mounting, appropriate sealing measures should be taken to protect the sensor.
