The SS205 series AC pressure sensor is a compact, economical, rugged, direct-mount sensor designed for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications. It supplies an internal thread 7/16-20 UNF Depressor pressure connection, and Packard electrical connection as standard, gives a 4-20mA current or 0.5-4.5v, 0-10v voltage linear analog signal based on the sensed pressure from 0 – 1 bar to 200 bar in absolute, sealed gauge and vented gauge versions.
SS205 series is designed with a stainless steel structure and operates on the piezoresistive measuring principle. The pressure measuring cell is fully welded. No O-ring is used for sealing inside. The sensor can be used with any corrosive or non-corrosive pressure medium that is compatible with stainless steel, including water, condensate, carbon dioxide, glycol, most refrigerants, including ammonia, and many other compatible fluids and gases.
