Features
SS119 series miniature pressure transducer is a low-cost type piezoresistive measuring cell. It has a compact structure but is temperature-compensated. The sensing part silicon chip is packaged in a housing and exposed to the air, not protected by an oil or parylene layer, the medium is acting directly on the silicon chip and comes into contact with the strain gauges of the Wheatstone bridge, this makes SS119 series high sensitivity, but this exposed silicon chip also limit its application, typically to measure non-conductive and non-corrosive gas.
