Descriptions

SS122 series submersible pressure transducer uses piezoresistive technology, silicone oil filled inside, douleb o-ring sealed structure meet IP68 protection, suitable for liquid level and depth measurement. The all stainless steel, hermetically sealed housing makes them suitable for immersion in most industrial liquids and oils. The transducer is designed to offer a stable and accurate mV output signal at pressure ranges from 100 mbar up to 5 bar (corresponding to water column depths of 1 m to 50 m) by various power supply e.g. 1.5mA dc, 1.0mA dc, 3V DC or 5V DC.

The electrical connection of the transducer is a special designed PE or PU cable with air tube and the pressure connection part is a much bigger open 316L stainless steel diaphragm to avoild blocking problems in long term use, is easy for daily maintenance. The typical applications including water and sewage treatment plants, water level monitoring at reservoirs/dams, down-hole water wells.

Installation and precautions

● The installation place should be easy to operation and fixing
● The installation place should be away from the inlet as far as possible
● The installation place should be away from the heat source as far as possible
● The installation place should be away from the vibration source as far as possible
● When installation, the metal probe should sink to the bottom of the container and fixed

Precautions for safety use

● Clean the metal probe (sensor) regularly to avoid block the pressure port
● The cable is special waterproof designed, abrasion, puncture, and cut the cable is strictly prohibited
● The wiring should strict reference to the electrical connection, wrong wiring will cause damage to the sensor
● A SS 316L diaphragm is exposed in the front part of the probe (sensor), artificially foreign body touch is strictly prohibited
